Suspect detained after officers respond to armed man barricaded in Sacramento residence

A man was detained after officers responded to the report of an armed suspect barricaded inside a Sacramento residence on Tuesday, according to the police department. Officials said officers responded to the report of a suspect brandishing a firearm around 4:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of 71st Street.
