OAKLAND – A San Francisco officer was struck and injured during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon in Oakland, an incident that culminated in an Oakland officer firing a single shot and police taking at least one person into custody, according to authorities.
Around 3:50 p.m., an officer assigned to the San Francisco Police Department Community Violence Reduction Team tried to stop a wanted suspect in a vehicle in the 800 block of 47th Street, SFPD said in a news release.
