FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A 20-year-old is being treated in the hospital after being hit by a car while riding his motorized scooter.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday on Maple and Shaw near Fresno State.
Police say the man was riding the scooter in the bike lane when he was hit, but believe he could be at fault.
Officers say he had significant injuries to his face and was unconscious when they arrived.
His current status is unknown at this time.
The driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
