Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz met with White House Border Czar Tom Homan Tuesday morning, according to the governor’s office.
The two spoke about a number of items, including a “significant reduction in the number of federal forces in Minnesota, and an end to the campaign of retribution against Minnesota.”
“The Governor and Homan agreed on the need for an ongoing dialogue and will continue working toward those goals, which the President also agreed to yesterday,” a statement from the governor’s office reads.
Homan will work with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety as his primary liaison, according to Walz’s office.
