Re “San Diego council member asks Escondido to end ICE use of police training facility” (Jan. 27): I am so sick of these state, county and city elected officials fighting against our sovereign nation. We are the United States of America. These officials constantly railing against our federal government enforcing national laws is anti-American and maddening. The fact that Councilmember Marni von Wilpert thinks it’s OK to ask for another city’s legal contract with ICE to be canceled is ludicrous.

The liberals have claimed that agents aren’t trained well and then want to take away a training facility for them to hone their skills. These people are so childish and petty. Virtue signaling at its best. Ridiculous.
