Several people are in the hospital after a crash where 43 cars piled up along a highway amid foggy conditions, the California Highway Patrol Bakersfield division said.CHP got multiple reports around 8:07 a.m. Tuesday of a crash blocking all lanes of eastbound Highway 58, east of Tower Line Road in the Arvin area of Kern County.
