(FOX40.COM) — Grammy-nominated rock artists The Black Crowes are coming to the Sacramento Valley this summer as part of a nationwide tour, alongside one of country music’s top bands.
The Black Crowes, nominated for two Grammys over their multi-decade run and described as genre-defying rock legends, will be playing alongside Whiskey Myers at the Toyota Amphitheatre in Yuba County on Aug. 19.
The performance is part of the “Southern Hospitality Tour,” a nationwide trek spanning over 40 cities, starting in Texas in May.

Southall, a country rock band from Oklahoma, will be the opener at the Toyota Amphitheatre.
The visit to the Sacramento Valley is the second of three California stops. On Aug. 17, the bands will be in Hollywood, Calif., and in Mountain View, Calif., on Aug. 20.
Fans can sign up now for pre-sale tickets on the bands’ websites starting Tuesday, Feb. 3, to unlock a “brand-new track” by The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers, according to a press release announcing the tour.
General on sale begins Friday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. on Live Nation’s website.
The Black Crowes are known for hits like “She Talks To Angels,” “Hard To Handle,” “Wiser Time,” “Twice As Hard,” and “Black Moon Creeping.” They were nominated for Grammys for their albums, “Shake Your Money Maker” and “Happiness Bastards,” in 1991 and 2024, respectively.
Whiskey Myers’ self-titled album was No. 1 on Billboard’s top country albums chart in 2017, outperforming Jon Pardi’s “Heartache Medication,” which was No. 2. The band was featured on the hit Paramount show, “Yellowstone.”
