All lanes of southbound Interstate 15 near Balboa Avenue are back open after a crash prompted a full closure Wednesday afternoon.
Multiple vehicles crashed for unknown reasons around 1:30 p.m., prompting a full closure of the southbound freeway, according to California Highway Patrol communications.
It was not clear if anyone was injured in the crash. Video from SkyRanger 7 showed one vehicle flipped onto its roof.
CHP was activating signs to alert drivers on nearby freeways to avoid the stretch of the 15.
Delays up to an hour were possible, according to SigAlert.
