A 27-year-old man was charged Wednesday with killing a man in Fullerton and then leading police on a chase that ended with a crash in Buena Park.
Francisco Soriano Jr. of Fullerton was charged with murder, assault with a weapon on a peace officer and leading police on a chase. He also faces sentencing enhancements for allegedly committing a crime while out on bail and personal use of a deadly weapon.
Soriano Jr. is accused of killing 42-year-old Alen Sabah Odisho of Anaheim.
Officers responded to a call of a stabbing at about 8:50 p.m. Sunday near South Euclid Street and West Baker Avenue, according to the Fullerton Police Department. The witness said the victim was possibly run over as well, police said.
Odisho was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after authorities issued a bulletin for the suspect vehicle, Buena Park police responded to a report of a hit-and-run collision there and tracked down Soriano, police said.
