One person was dead Wednesday evening following a shooting in La Puente, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to a reported shooting near Amar Road and North Orange Avenue around 5:15 p.m., according the LASD.
Upon arrival, deputies found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting suspect remains outstanding as homicide detectives continue to investigate.
