The Fresno City College baseball team started their 2025-2026 season undefeated, beating Mt. San Antonio College 9-2 on Jan. 23 and 5-4 on Jan. 24 at the FCC ballpark. 

At the top of the first inning, the Mounties were scoreless with three outs. The Rams scored at the bottom of the first inning with two runs and three outs. The Rams led the Mounties 2-0.

Towards the end of the second and third inning the Mounties and the Rams were scoreless with three outs each. The Rams still led the Mounties 2-0.

At the top of the fourth inning, the Mounties were scoreless with three outs. The Rams scored at the bottom of the fourth inning with three runs and three outs. The Rams now led the Mounties 5-0.

Near the bottom of the fifth inning, the Mounties and the Rams scored with one run and 3 outs each. The score was now 6-1 in favor of the Rams.

The end of the sixth inning saw the Mounties scoreless with three outs, and the Rams scored three runs. The Rams led 9-1.

At the end of the seventh and eighth inning both the Mounties and the Rams struck out with three outs. The Rams led 9-1.

As the game came to a close in the ninth inning, the Mounties scored one run. 

The Rams next home game is a three-game series against Cosumnes River College on Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. at the FCC ballpark.
