BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The City of Bakersfield is set to host their final listening session in the search of a new chief of police as current Bakersfield chief of police Greg Terry readies for retirement in April.

The session will take place on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. as a virtual meeting.

Bakersfield City Manager Christian Clegg will take the public’s input on what they would like to see in the new chief of police including traits, values and priorities.
