All lanes of I-8 east in Grantville closed due to deadly crash – NBC 7 San Diego

All lanes of Interstate 8 east in Grantville were closed Monday night after a deadly car crash, officials said.

At least one person was killed in the incident that was reported near Waring Road just before 10:30 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

EB I-8 west of Waring Rd, all lanes blocked due to a traffic collision.

Caltrans issued a SigAlert in the area, and traffic was being diverted off at Mission Gorge Road/Fairmount Avenue.
