Police arrest two after car chase and crash involving pregnant woman in Clovis

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Clovis police responded to reports of a shooting from a vehicle at Sunnyside and Shepherd.

Officers received a description of the suspect’s car, a maroon Chevy Impala, and the real-time center tracked it using city cameras.

An officer located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver took off.

The chase ended a short time later at Willow and Nees when the Impala crashed into another vehicle carrying a pregnant woman.

They say the driver also rammed a police car.
