North Italia: Just in time for the Super Bowl and National Pizza Day, North Italia has released two new pizzas. The loaded potato skin pizza is decorated with mashed potatoes, bacon, chives, sour cream and Grana Padano cheese. The jalapeño popper pizza is topped with bacon, jalapenos, garlic cream cheese, smoked mozzarella, breadcrumbs and a sweet and sour sauce. Vistal Bar and Restaurant: The quarterly dinner, Behind the Catch, is returning to Vistal Bar and Restaurant. The series spotlights local seafood with a presentation from commercial fishing professionals. Wine tasting: Temecula Wines its hosting its annual barrel tasting weekend event. The public can try various unreleased wines from different wineries in the Temecula Valley. They are served directly from the barrels. Tickets to the event include access to over 30 wineries, food pairing and self-guided tours. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. . The Shores Restaurant: In La Jolla, The Shores Restaurant is launching deals for margarita lovers and kids. On Mondays, guests can get 50% off its signature shores margarita all day. The margarita contains tequila blanco, agave and lime juice. Also, Children 12 years and younger can now eat for free every Monday through Wednesday, with a purchase of an adult meal. Cannonball: A new women-marketed meal has been introduced at Cannonball at Belmont Park. Girl Dinner is a curated meal that is available weekday afternoons. Herb and Wood: Local coffee shops and DJs are collaborating with Herb and Wood for a new weekly breakfast series at night. The event invites local coffee shops to serve coffee cocktails, while DJs mix songs and curate a vibe.
