A former San Diego TV weatherman has died after his small plane crashed in Rural Idaho.
Roland Steadham worked for reporting partner 10 News in the early 1990s.
Steadham was aboard a small plane this week, with a fellow pilot, when their plane clipped a power line and went down into a river.
The 67 year old was an active member of the local aviation community in Boise, where he, his wfie, and their six children lived.
His station bio says Steadham logged more than 3,000 hours flying and experienced over 700 skydives. He also enjoyed the Idaho mountains and kayaking alongside his wife and daughters.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
