A child was killed and two others were injured when they were struck by a vehicle in the San Carlos area on Monday morning.
The children were struck around 7:20 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Lake Badin Avenue and Jackson Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police reported one child died and another suffered a compound arm fracture. The third child’s condition was unknown. The children’s ages were not immediately available.
The driver remained at the scene after the crash, the department said. It was unclear what caused the incident.
