A La Mesa Police Officer has been killed after a deadly car crash.
The San Diego Fire Rescue Department says the crash happened late last night near Waring Road. A SIG alert has been issued for the area, and traffic was being diverted off at Mission Gorge Road and Fairmount Avenue.
The LMPD has not released details about what lead to the crash, or the name of the officer involved.
