FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Saturday marks the somber third anniversary of the line-of-duty death of Selma police officer Gonzalo Carrasco Jr.
The mother of his child, Karla Alvarez, has shared an exclusive update with new video and pictures of their little boy, who never got to meet his Dad.
Karla says just like his father, Max is full of personality and curiosity.
Maximus Gonzalo Carrasco will be celebrating his third birthday in February. He was born just weeks after his father was killed.

Max is also set to enroll in pre-school soon.
Karla thanks the community for the continued support of their family as they take time to honor the memory of Gonzalo and celebrate the milestones of his young son.
