Snoopy may make a spunky home in an offbeat abode we all know, but when the iconic canine isn’t atop his red doghouse, he can often be found meeting fans at Knott’s Berry Farm.
That’s where an annual festivity devoted to the world of cartoonist Charles Schulz takes memorable place, though there are PEANUTS-inspired sights at the Buena Park destination throughout the calendar.
The funny and philosophical world created by Mr. Schulz has been a major part of Knott’s Berry Farm for over four decades, and come a few special winter weeks?
The PEANUTS Celebration does an exuberant Linus & Lucy dance over several Saturdays and Sundays, and Presidents Day, too.
Merry meet-and-greets in the theme park’s historic Ghost Town, the new Knott’s Express (look for some of the characters to roll through the Boardwalk’s midway area), and goodies created just for the festivities are favorites, too.
As are photo backdrops, so come in your Charlie Brown zigzag shirt or a blue frock like Sally might wear, if you’re into comic strip style.
The PEANUTS Celebration runs from Jan. 31 through Feb. 22, each Saturday and Sunday, and Presidents Day, too.
