A missing man last seen in La Puente has been located, deactivating a Silver Alert, authorities said Saturday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department did not release where or when Jose Guillen was located.
Guillen, who has a medical condition which requires daily medication, had last been seen at approximately 2 p.m. Thursday at Donaldale Street and Van Wig Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert Friday on behalf of the LASD.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
