Inside the law offices of Keesal Young & Logan last week, 92 guests welcomed this year’s performers for the upcoming “Dancing for Our Stars” fundraiser, which will take place in March to benefit MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital.

The 15th annual event will take place on March 7 at The Westin Long Beach, 333 E. Ocean Blvd.

Rob Gunsalus, president of the Long Beach Medical Center Foundation, introduced the dancers at the law offices, which overlook the beautiful Long Beach Harbor, during the Jan. 22 warm-up for the fundraiser. There were many smiles and much applause as they related their experiences on this adventure.

The room was beautifully decorated and filled with enthusiasm, welcoming this year’s dancers. The featured dancers, who were showcased upon entry with cardboard cutouts, include Dr. Torin and Carol Cunningham, Janet Dockstader, Dr. Deborah Finklestein, Katie Jakemer, and Sumer and Jasmine Temple.

Hors d’oeuvres included crudités, shrimp, eggrolls and other dishes. The buffet also displayed a delicious array of desserts.
