IF YOU THOUGHT PACKAGE DELIVERIES WERE JUST YOUR USUAL BOXES AND AMAZON PRIME STICKERS, WELL, THINK AGAIN. WHEN LINCOLN FAMILY GOT A DELIVERY THAT WAS JUST, WE’LL SAY THEY LEFT A LITTLE EXTRA KCRA 3’S. DENTON CORTEZ IS IN THE NEWSROOM FOR US TONIGHT TO SHOW US EXACTLY WHAT THEY FOUND. DENTON I CAN’T WAIT TO HEAR THIS SINCE I THINK YOU USED THE RIGHT TERM. EXTRA IS A WELL USED TERM. WHAT’S IN THE BOX? JUST TOOK ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING FOR ONE LINCOLN FAMILY. PAGE OF LINCOLN AND HER FAMILY SAY WHAT WAS LEFT BEHIND WASN’T LOST OR DELAYED, AND DEFINITELY SOMETHING YOU COULDN’T RETURN. I’M VERY HAPPY WITH WHAT AMAZON DELIVERS, BUT NOT THIS PACKAGE. I DIDN’T KNOW IF IT WAS LIKE A CONSTRUCTION TOTE THAT MAYBE LIKE THE THE TRACTORS NEEDED OR SOMETHING, BECAUSE IT’S LIKE THIS BRIGHT NEON TOTE. AT FIRST IT WAS CONFUSING, THEN UNMISTAKABLE. UNTIL I OPENED IT, I YEAH, AND THEN IT WAS CLEAR IT WAS HUMAN FECES WITH LIKE LIKE DRIVE THROUGH NAPKINS, LIKE THE BROWN ONES. AN AMAZON DELIVERY BAG WITH HUMAN FECAL MATTER INSIDE LEFT ON THEIR PROPERTY. WE FOUND IT, LIKE RIGHT TUCKED IN HERE BEHIND ALL THE BRANCHES AND BUSHES. AND HE WAS TRYING TO BE SNEAKY, BUT YOU COULD STILL SEE IT. THE LINCOLN FAMILY IMMEDIATELY CALLING AMAZON ABOUT THE DELIVERY. I DON’T THINK THEY WOULD BELIEVE THAT THAT WOULD HAPPEN. AND THEN I ALSO THINK MAYBE THEY THOUGHT I WAS TALKING ABOUT A PRODUCT, BUT IT WASN’T A PRODUCT, A PRODUCT. ALL RIGHT, THAT CAME OUT OF A HUMAN. I WAS SHOCKED THAT SOMEONE JUST LEFT A THING, A POOP AMAZON SENDING HAZMAT CREWS TO RETRIEVE THE PACKAGE FROM THE LINCOLN FAMILY’S RESIDENCE. THIS IS THE CRIME SCENE. IT MORE DISTURBS ME ABOUT THE CONTAMINATION ON THE PACKAGES VERSUS I MEAN, WE’RE OUT HERE. IT’S OUT IN THE COUNTRY. AND YOU KNOW THAT PART. YOU KNOW, AS FAR AS IT BEING HERE, RIGHT HERE, MORE CONCERNING. IT WAS THEM. WHAT ARE THEY TOUCHING THAT WE’RE TOUCHING. IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE THIS DELIVERY HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE IT. WE DIDN’T ORDER IT. AND. I THINK FOR THAT FAMILY AND ANY OTHER FAMILY, THEY WOULD HAVE ORDERED THAT AS WELL. BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, IN AN EMAIL TO THE FAMILY SHARED WITH KCRA, AMAZON SAYS AN INTERNAL INVESTIGATION INTO THAT DELIVERY IS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY. WE REACHED OUT TO AMAZON FOR COMMENT, BUT HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. CECIL, THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER WITH THEM SAYING THEY DIDN’T ORDER IT. YEAH

A family in Lincoln was shocked to find an Amazon delivery on their property containing human fecal matter, leading the company to send hazmat crews for cleanup. Paige, a member of the family, recounted the incident, saying, “They told me, ‘We’ll send someone to pick it out.’ And I’m saying, you cannot just send a driver to get this. That would be horrid.”Paige was unsure of the contents, thinking it might be a construction tote due to its bright neon color. However, upon opening it, she realized, “It was clear it was human feces with drive-through napkins, like the brown ones.”The package was found tucked behind branches and bushes on their property. The family immediately contacted Amazon about the delivery, and GreyMar Environmental Services was sent out from Amazon to retrieve the bag. Amazon did launch an internal investigation into the delivery in an email shared with KCRA 3. “It more disturbs me about the contamination on the packages,” noted Paige.
