RIVERSIDE, Calif. (January 31, 2026) — The Morgan State wrestling team hit the road to face California Baptist on Saturday, falling to the Lancers, 37–10, in a dual meet at Van Dyne Gym.

California Baptist claimed victories in eight of the 10 bouts, earning bonus points in five of those matches to secure its second dual win of the season. With the setback, the Bears move to 0–12 on the year.

Julian Dawson opened the dual for Morgan State at 125 pounds against Cooper Shore. Shore controlled the match from the start, recording two takedowns and drawing multiple stall calls to earn a 9–1 major decision and an early 4–0 lead for the Lancers.
