SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks received a spirited sendoff from their devoted fans on Sunday morning as they departed Renton for California, where they will face the New England Patriots in the highly anticipated Super Bowl LX
The team left their headquarters at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center amid a frenzy of cheering supporters waving signs, flags, and banners.
“We come to celebrate the going away of the nation’s best team, the Seattle Seahawks, and so we come out to see them going off to a victory and coming back with the championship to this great city,” said one enthusiastic fan.
Despite recent reports suggesting the team might be up for sale after the game, the Allen estate has denied any current plans to sell.
