CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State Women’s Basketball team continued its dominant season Saturday afternoon, cruising past the San Francisco Dons 75-53 at Gill Coliseum. The victory extended the Beavers’ conference record to 9-1 and reinforced why they entered the season as favorites to win the West Coast Conference.

A key factor in Oregon State’s success this season has been its depth and versatility, and Saturday’s game was a perfect example.

Four players reached double figures, the fourth time this season the Beavers have had that kind of balanced scoring effort.

Lizzy Williamson led the charge with a season-high 18 points, while Kennedie Shuler added a game-high 19 points and seven assists.

Ally Schimel and Keira Lindemans combined for seven assists keeping the Beavers’ offense flowing smoothly.

Oregon State dominated both inside and out, holding San Francisco to 37.1 percent shooting while connecting on 46.8 percent of their own attempts.

The Beavers also controlled the glass 42-30 and converted 16 points off 12 Dons turnovers.

With threats across the lineup, from the perimeter to the paint with players like Lizzy Williamson and Nene Sow, Oregon State’s balance makes it tough for opponents to focus on any single player.

Oregon State will look to keep its momentum rolling when it heads to Gonzaga on Thursday.
