Two men suffered gunshot wounds to their lower legs Monday on a Long Beach street.
The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Artesia Boulevard, west of Downey Avenue, according to Long Beach Police Department Lt. Steven R. Jilek.
One man had two gunshot wounds and the other was shot once, Jilek said. Both were taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
The suspect or suspects fled the scene before officers arrived, he said. The shooting was under investigation.
