A school bus carrying 30–40 elementary students went into Magpie Creek in Sacramento on Monday morning. No injuries reported.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A school bus carrying 30 to 40 elementary-aged children went into Magpie Creek Monday morning around 7:30 a.m., authorities said. 

The Sacramento Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol, North Sacramento, confirmed the incident. Another bus arrived at the scene to safely transport the students to school. No injuries were reported, officials said.

All lanes of Raley Boulevard are temporarily closed while CHP officers manage the scene. An investigation into the crash is currently underway.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and follow alternate routes until the scene is cleared.
