Coroner ID’s man shot, killed in south Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a 32-year-old man who was shot and killed in January.

The man was identified as 32-year-old Ismael Gardea, of Bakersfield. The shooting was reported in the 1300 block of Rosalia Drive on Jan. 14, around 10:44 p.m.

Man dead after hit-and-run motorcycle crash in southwest Bakersfield: police

Gardea was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating this incident.
