Chef Pim Techamuanvivit’s one-Michelin-starred Kin Khao inside the Parc 55 Hilton is a standout among San Francisco’s Thai restaurants. Chef de cuisine Adam Sproat and the Kin Khao team doesn’t hold back. Diners are treated to punchy flavors and some heat, alongside seasonal produce. If you’re worried about the spice level, the menu clearly notes spicier options, and your server is more than happy to guide everyone through the menu.
Like a lot of downtown San Francisco restaurants, street parking can be difficult (especially with lots of rules pertaining to rush hour), but there are nearby garages to take advantage of. If you’re truly running late, Parc 55 Hilton offers valet parking and the restaurant will validate at $15 for two hours.
The wine list is low-key fantastic if your party is looking to indulge in a bottle. The list includes a range of bottles from well-known regions like Loire in France, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz. But also mixed in are some options from the Ruwer area of Germany or Valle d’Aosta region in Italy. Bottles are priced from $60 to as much as $240 for a ’22 Montvertine Toscana Rosso from Tuscany.
