Federal ICE agents are on their way to San Francisco. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem on Monday reinforced comments made by President Trump the day before, saying San Francisco is the next city that could see ICE agents and National Guard troops on local streets. Such efforts would be made over the protests of Governor Newsom and San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie. Lurie says such efforts wouldn’t help San Francisco deal with the city’s ongoing efforts to halt drug dealing.
