LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP – A month-long narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a Stafford Township man accused of distributing illegal drugs in Long Beach Township, police announced.

James Malandro, 22, was taken into custody following a coordinated operation between the Long Beach Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force.

Investigators said Malandro faces multiple charges, including distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine and Adderall, possession of a firearm during a controlled dangerous substance offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was processed at Long Beach Township Police Headquarters and lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

Police said the department remains committed to protecting residents through proactive enforcement and thanked the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office for its assistance in the case.
