BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield SPCA is inviting the community to attend its annual Furry Paws & Foggy Nights fundraising event towards the end of February.

The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. through 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at the DoubleTree Hotel at 3100 Camino Del Rio Court, according to organizers.

The event aims to raise vital funds for the animals at the Bakersfield SPCA and kick off the next 75 years of the organization’s work, the group said in a press release.

Attendees can look forward to food, live music and entertainment, auction items, raffles and special appearances from some shelter animals, according to SPCA.

Tickets cost $185 per person and a table for 10 can be reserved for $1,750, according to SPCA.
