JCS currently has seven vocalists and this February, we’re looking to add:
Two basses (or baritones)
Two tenors
One or two altos
One soprano (a high soprano preferred)
The JazzCity Singers has performed Great American Songbook and jazz standards for over well over a decade, backed by professional pianist, Lee Bloom. Â In
addition to ensemble tunes, some of our stronger singers also perform a
solo tune during our concerts, which are held every year or so.
As we’re looking to add several new members, we are setting aside most of our current repertoire and will concentrate on learning songs that are new to everyone.
