Reported Tehachapi school shooting threat determined to be unfounded

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Tehachapi Police Department has thoroughly investigated a reported school shooting threat and has determined the threat to be unfounded.

Tehachapi police said as a precautionary measure, the department will maintain an increased presence around the school campuses on Tuesday.

In a release, it said, “We appreciate the continued cooperation and support of our students, families, and community.”
