SAN FRANCISCO —

New England Patriots fans who are traveling to San Francisco to take in the Super Bowl can find some familiar attractions during their visit.

One popular San Francisco landmark is the Painted Ladies, seven pastel-colored Victorian homes.

You might know them from the opening credits of the sitcom “Full House.”

“We actually just rewatched it. It’s pretty nostalgic,” said Melony Ritter, who was visiting San Francisco. “And the girls watched ‘Fuller House,’ so it’s kind of like a full family, full circle moment here.”

The Ritter family from Charlotte, North Carolina, was in town as their eldest daughter is set to play in the NFL Flag Football Showcase. She was at practice while her family saw the sights.

“I’m really proud of my older sister, even though I may not say it to her face a lot,” said her sister, Brinley Ritter.

From there, sightseers can traverse San Francisco’s steep city roads. The most daunting street of all is one of the city’s most famous: Lombard Street.

“I’m not used to anything like it,” said Collin Bardwell, who was visiting San Francisco. “We have hills in the East Coast, but this is kind of insane.”

Eight twists and turns take you down a steep hill with gorgeous landscaping. Flowers bloom in the warmer months.

People drive down slowly, and tourists pop their phones out of their cars to catch snapshots of the incredible views.

WMUR’s Tom Garris drove very gingerly down the famous stretch of road. He said that by the end of his 1 minute, 15 second drive down, his confidence was way up.
