Sacramento County standoff ends with arrest after knife threat
A K-9 unit was deployed to arrest him.

Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man after a brief standoff at a home on Jade Court in the Arden-Arcade area, where he allegedly threatened his father with a knife. Deputies were called to the home around 9:30 a.m. The father said his son did not live with him but was allowed to sleep in his car at the home, according to the sheriff’s office.Deputies surrounded the house and called in a BearCat vehicle. After about 20 minutes, the son walked out of the house but ignored all commands from the deputies, according to the sheriff’s office. A K-9 unit was deployed to arrest him.
