BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Burlington Stores announced on Monday plans for a new store in northwest Bakersfield in the spring, and all signs point to a new location across from the Valley Plaza Mall.
“Now hiring” signs and indications of construction were seen by an Eyewitness News crew at the former JOANN’s Fabrics and Crafts store on Ming Avenue.
The opening of both stores is part of 124 stores opening in California by the end of 2026, according to a news release.
The northwest Burlington Store will be located at 1211 Olive Drive, the site of a former Big Lots store.
