A day after Bakersfield College was on lockdown and cancelled classes due to an anonymous threat, Bakersfield College interim president Dr. Stacy Pfluger said students can check in with college staff and mental health specialists if they experienced any trauma or anxiety.
Pfluger also commended campus safety, which worked with city and county law enforcement to quickly gain control of the situation on Wednesday morning, just before 11 a.m. The anonymous threat caused Bakersfield College’s Panorama Campus to initiate a campus-wide lockdown.
