BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Employers’ Training Resource is sharing their on-the-job training opportunities that benefit both employers and job seekers.

The on-the job training program helps job seekers advance their skills or learn new information that will help them transition into a new career.

The training is a full-time paid position that is no cost to the job seeker.

The program also helps employers find qualified candidates and gives them access to reimbursement equal to the cost of the training.

Kern County Employers’ Training Resource is also highlighting the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District hiring fair that is taking place on February 4 at Stonecreek Junior High.

The hiring fair is happening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a variety of positions available including those in teaching, custodial, classroom support and more.
