STOCKTON, Calif. – A mid-week battle at Knoles Field features the Pacific women’s soccer program hosting San Francisco at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Pink Game.
Pacific (4-6-4, 1-3-2 WCC) is looking to win its second straight home game after knocking off Santa Clara on Homecoming 2-1 on Oct. 11. The Tigers trailed 1-0 when sophomore Gianna Gagliano tallied the equalizer and sophomore Kayla Pham scored the game-winner in the 70th minute.
Most recently, the Tigers are coming off a 1-1 tie against LMU this past weekend on the road. Pacific was behind 1-0 when junior Whitney Garn evened it in the 79th minute.
Garn is the team-leader in points this season with five. Pacific has spread its offense all season with nine different student-athletes scoring a goal including sophomore Sierah McCallum with a pair.
San Francisco (2-8-3, 1-4-1 WCC) has a 1-0 conference win over Oregon State on its resume along with a 1-1 tie against Saint Mary’s – both of those results came at home. The Dons are looking for their first road win of the year.
The last time San Francisco came to Knoles Field, the Tigers walked away with a 5-3 win on Nov. 4, 2023.
Wednesday’s game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Dennis Ackermann on the call. Pacific will close out the week with a noon game Saturday at Oregon State.
