BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of allegedly breaking into a vehicle and stealing items.

BPD said on January 12th, 2026, the suspect allegedly went into a vehicle parked in the 12000 block of Stemple Drive, near Allen Road, and stole items.

The suspect is described as a man, wearing a dark jacket, and with a dark colored Chevrolet Malibu.
