BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The American Heart Association will host the annual “Go Red for Women” luncheon on Friday, Feb. 6, at the Stockdale Country Club, to raise awareness for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in women.
Officials said that for over 20 years, the event has met the needs of women and addressed awareness and care for CVD.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Required attire is red business casual.
The auction is set to start at noon.
The Stockdale Country Club is located at 7001 Stockdale Highway.
