At its Hollywood wine bar, Gelson’s puts on its recently launched social club from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening features drinks and food like charcuterie, shrimp cocktail, sushi, fried chicken and Dubai chocolate strawberries.

Julia Stoschek presents What a Wonderful World: An Audiovisual Poem across all six floors of the Variety Arts Theater. This first U.S. presentation by the German collector features art and film by Marina Abramović, Doug Aitken, Kader Attia, Douglas Gordon, Anne Imhof, Arthur Jafa, Mark Leckey, Paul McCarthy, Ana Mendieta, Jon Rafman, Jeremy Shaw, Alice Guy-Blaché, Georges Méliès, Luis Buñuel and Walt Disney, among others.

Getty kicks off the 2026 edition of its free-to-attend Sounds of LA with a performance of drum songs from Alaska and Greenland’s Indigenous cultures by Pamyua: Inuit Soul.
