One person is in custody after an officer-involved shooting at Exposition Park on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

At 9:35 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of the California Science Center off Figueroa St. after a report of a man with a rifle.

Police say at least one officer fired his gun and the suspect was hit.

Injuries are unknown at this time. It’s also unclear if the suspect fired shots.
