BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a woman accused of stealing a phone and a credit card from a purse in Trader Joe’s and using the card to buy a MacBook Pro Laptop at Costco.
Police said on October 9, 2025, at about 5:30 p.m., the victim realized her phone and credit card had been stolen from her purse at Trader Joe’s. Shortly after, the victim’s credit card was used to purchase a MacBook Pro Laptop at Costco on Rosedale Highway.
Surveillance at Costco captured the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle.
The suspect is described as a woman wearing a white hat, maroon and white sweater with “KORS” across the chest, torn light blue jeans, black and white shoes, and a Karl Lagerfeld tote bag.

The suspect’s vehicle is a white 2004-2007 Nissan Armada, stock in appearance.
