Coroner ID’s man killed in single-vehicle crash in south Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was found dead in a south Bakersfield crash on Tuesday.

Timothy Joseph Moreno, 47, was driving a 2004 Kia Rio on southbound Wible Road, north of Phillips Road, at an unknown speed.

Moreno’s vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 6:30 a.m.

It is unknown when the crash occurred, according to coroner’s officials.
