BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Several Kern County schools have announced fog delays and closures Thursday.

Below are fog delays for Feb. 5, 2026:

Greenfield Union School District – 2 hours

Elk Hills School District – Closure

Kern High School District (excluding Kern Valley High school) – 2 hours

Bakersfield City School District (buses only) – 2 hours

Fairfax School District – 2 hours

Norris School District – 2 hours

Vineland School District – 2 hours

Maple School District – Closure

Panama-Buena Vista School District (buses only) – 2 hours

Buttonwillow Union School District – 2 hours

Lakeside Union School District – Closure

Grow Public Schools (Shafter only) – Closure

Pond School District – 3 hours

McFarland Unified School District – 2 hours

Shafter High School (KHSD) – Closure

Richland School District – Closure

General Shafter School District – Closure

Rosedale Union School District – 3 hours
