Meet Rascal! A smart, playful Cattle Dog mix seeking the right home. Rascal is a two-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a smaller frame, weighing in at just around 25 lbs. Don’t let his size fool you—he has all the heart, intelligence, and drive of a classic herding breed in a compact little package.

Rascal loves toys, especially anything he can chase or carry, and he’s happiest when he has a job to do. In low-distraction environments, he becomes wonderfully focused and truly shines during training sessions. He is affectionate with his people and loves to push his whole body into your lap for pets and attention. And if you’re someone who enjoys playing fetch, Rascal will happily chase a ball as long as you’re willing to throw it.

Rascal is looking for a very specific type of home where he can be safe, successful, and understood. His ideal match will be:

Adults only.

No other animals in the home.

A fully fenced yard. 

Someone experienced with herding breeds and familiar with their instincts, sensitivities, and need for structure.
