Kern County Public Health hosts Safe Baby Safe Child Conference on October 24

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Public Health is hosting a Safe Baby Safe Child Conference on Friday, October 24th.

It will be from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, Founders Hall.

Public Health said the training is designed for clinicians, nurses, social workers, and healthcare professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge on vital topics such as safe sleeping practices, abusive head trauma prevention, child passenger safety, and coping with grief.
